Appeals against a decision of the First-tier Tribunal – Care Standards
If you wish to appeal a decision made by the FTT-Care Standards you must first obtain permission to appeal from that tribunal. On receipt of an application for permission, the FFT – Care Standards will:
- Decide to the review it's earlier decision
- Refuse to give permission, in which case you can apply direct to the Upper Tribunal or
- Grant the application and forward to the Upper Tribunal.
Appeals against a decision of the Independent Safeguarding Authority
Appeals against a decision of the Independent Safeguarding Authority are considered by the Administrative Appeals Chamber of the Upper Tribunal. You can download the appeal form and guidance from the Upper Tribunal (Administrative Appeals) web site (see below)
